Today Download.com rolled out our Watch List product. Users can add items to their list (ajax goodness) and, when said items are updated, they’ll get an email.

Additional features

Users have the option of having items that they download automatically added to their watch list; this helps them keep their software up to date.

Users can use a digest mode to limit the number of emails they get.

Users can visit their list in their profile page and easily remove items from the list (more ajax goodness here, along with moo.fx, behaviour.js, and prototype.js).

The ability to get an email about artists on Download.com Music and publishers on Download.com Video when they upload new content.
